This is not a directory of other providers. It is a referral page for professionals who want to send a client to Fair Winds, request records or ask about an evaluation.

We work with pediatricians, schools, therapists, attorneys, case managers and agencies across North Texas.

Who we serve

Children from 12 months through adolescence
Adults, including adult autism and ADHD evaluations
Couples and families
Clients physically located in Texas for telehealth

Providers are licensed in Texas and cannot serve clients located outside the state.

Evaluation

Autism, ADHD, learning, language, developmental, career and focused diagnostic evaluations. Comprehensive testing is self-pay.

Individual, couples, family, child and teen counseling in Fort Worth or by secure video across Texas.

Disability paperwork, ESA letters, court and legal evaluations, records and reports. Fees apply.

Records and reports

How to refer

1. Call 817-735-4165 or send the client to our contact page.
2. Tell us the question and the age of the client.
3. Send relevant records with a signed release.
4. We confirm insurance or self-pay and schedule the first step.

Please do not send protected health information by regular email. Use the patient portal or a secure release.

What to include

The referral question in one or two sentences
Age, school or work setting and current concerns
Relevant medical, school or therapy records
Insurance information, if the client wants us to check benefits
A signed release for coordination
Any deadline, such as an IEP meeting or court date

For pediatricians and therapists

We can coordinate with you before and after an evaluation, with the family's permission. A short question and the records that matter are more useful than a long file.

For schools

We provide private evaluations and reports. Families decide what to share. We do not make school eligibility decisions, but we can explain findings and recommendations.

For attorneys and courts

We provide some court and legal evaluations. The scope, recipients and fees are agreed in writing before work begins.
